TOMIS Brand Identity.
A visual case-study presentation of the TOMIS identity system, from its logo and typography to practical brand applications.

Clarity for complex operations.
TOMIS — Tasking, Operations & Management Information System — supports the flow of operational information in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) environment. It brings tasking, everyday processes, and management information into a more coordinated system.
This brand identity project focused on giving TOMIS a clearer, more recognizable visual presence. The objective was to establish a cohesive identity that communicates credibility and authority while reflecting the precision, connectivity, and modern capabilities of an operational information system.
Authority meets modernity.
Operating in a federal environment, TOMIS needed an identity that felt established, dependable, and professional without relying solely on conventional government visual cues.
The central challenge was finding the right balance: creating a serious and trustworthy presence while conveying movement, coordination, and the connected nature of contemporary operations.
One system. One visual language.
The creative direction pairs institutional authority with a cleaner, more disciplined design language. A recognizable emblem, structured typography, and a carefully coordinated palette help establish a consistent visual system across multiple applications.
The identity is designed to remain legible and recognizable in both digital and physical settings — from internal communications and presentations to operational materials and branded equipment.
Designed for recognition and consistency.
The TOMIS visual system extends beyond a single logo. Its emblem variations, typographic hierarchy, color standards, and practical applications demonstrate how a unified identity can support clear communication in complex operational settings.
The following visual presentation explores the system through logo treatments, typography, color studies, stationery, identification materials, and branded operational concepts.
Identity in detail.
